Feature of the week: Direct references to Shopify

This week, we’re excited to introduce a highly requested feature: direct references from customers, invoices, and orders in Firmhouse back to the corresponding entries in your Shopify admin.

This new addition brings Firmhouse and Shopify accounts even closer together, empowering you with faster navigation and more control over your subscription data.

What’s new? 👀

Our latest update adds easy-access buttons in three main areas of your Firmhouse dashboard:

1. Customer detail page: You can now navigate directly to the corresponding customer profile in Shopify with just one click.
2. Order overview and detail pages: Quickly jump to the associated order in Shopify for a streamlined workflow.
3. Invoice overview and detail pages: Link directly to the corresponding Shopify order to review billing and payment details.

This feature helps cut down on the time spent toggling between platforms, ensuring you can handle tasks with minimal friction.

• More efficiency: Save valuable time by jumping directly to the exact record in Shopify without manually searching for it.

How it works ⚒️

Using the new feature is simple:

1. Locate the record in Firmhouse: Open the Customer, Order, or Invoice detail page in your Firmhouse dashboard.
2. Click the Shopify link: Look for the new button labeled View in Shopify. This button is prominently displayed on the detail page.
3. Navigate to Shopify: Clicking the button takes you directly to the corresponding entry in your Shopify admin, allowing you to access all relevant details instantly.

This update makes sure you stay connected and in control, whether you’re managing customer subscriptions, processing orders, or handling invoices.
